Outside

It's spring, which means everyone is sick of cold weather and we just want to play outside.  Last weekend my nephew came over and we played in the backyard. 

These boys have the BEST imaginations!  Sometimes it is hard to keep up.  One minute they are fighting bad guys and the next they are magical wizards, or something like that.

Even the dogs join in the fun.  Carson decided that if you touch a dog you have to become a dog, unless you are on base (which was the play house).  The dogs are clueless of course. 

Tia is usually doing 1 of 3 things when we are outside.

1.  Waiting for someone to take her ball...

2.  Waiting for someone to throw her ball (with her tongue hanging out, obviously)...

3.  Or trying to keep Rocky from getting her ball...

Yoda usually stays out of the mix...

Unless he is captured and taken into the dungeon...

"Somebody help me!"

The boys wanted to me chase them all over pretending I was an evil witch.  So they spent their time trying to hide from me (and my camera).  But I always managed to find them, cast some spells and take their pictures...

But eventually the sun goes down...



And it's all fun and games until somebody cries...

Okay, okay...five more minutes.  How can I resist that face?

It's hard being the witch sometimes.  So I asked if I could be a princess instead. 

They said no. 

*Sigh* I'll have to settle with just being mommy and auntie then.

I am perfectly okay with that.
