There was great food...
the cake was delicious...
and there was chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate.
My mom is a diagnosed "chocoholic" so people brought it as gifts and her best friend used it for decoration...
but the best part about this party, was the SURPRISE! I love surprises, especially when I get to surprise other people- it's so much fun. So when we planned my mom's party we assumed my sister wouldn't be able to come since she lives approximatly 1250 miles away. But don't ever put it past my sister to make a trip back to Oklahoma. That's right, she may live all over the world, but she'll always be an Okie. So we decided to surprise my mom and have her show up at the party with her squishy adorable baby.
So here is how it all went down...
*Ding dong* (doorbell rings)
"It's a suprise chocolate delivery for Beth!"
Here comes my sister with 59 Hershey's kisses and 1 baby dressed as the 60th Hershey kiss...
Best surprise ever.
We cried. Then we ate some chocolate. We're women, it's what we do.
Then we ooo'd and aaahhh'd over this baby dressed as a Hershey's kiss (which now looking at the pictures looks more like a mushroom, but you get the idea, right?).
Hilarious.
And adorable.
Happy birthday mom!
The best part about sneaking my sister to the party was she got to stay with me! At our house! With her baby! Have I mentioned that he is perfectly squishy? And huggable?
I have proof. Here is his leg. Apparently my sister had a baby with the Michelin Man.
My sister was getting ready to give him a bath and I had to take some pictures.
And right before she put him in the water I saw this...and I died...laughing...hysterically...
I happen to think baby bottoms are about the cutest thing ever. But a baby bottom with dimples? That topped my charts. As my sister likes to put it "that boy likes his momma's cookin'!"
And then some.
He is so cute I almost yearned to have another baby. Then he spit up on me. Then I heard my sister get up with him at 5:00 am. Aaaand, I changed my mind...maybe next year.
omg, that is the cutest little tooshie I've ever seen! Not that I see baby bottoms often, but man, that is adorable! :)
